Here’s to organisation!

Ok, for those of you who don’t know.. This week has been really exciting for me, I have been given the massive compliment of being given my very own workshop space at The Lost Gardens of Heligan, those of you who know me know how much I love it there & it already counts for a large part of my working inspiration so to be able to surround myself by the gardens & actually work there is frankly a dream come true!! The plan for the space is that I can use it as a working studio, I can sell my stuff (which can all go through the lovely shop tills) & I can also run workshops from there (joy of joys!) so basically from now on if you want to do a workshop just send me an email & we can do it! One-one or as a group, anything is possible. There are also all sorts of other opportunities…. Tomorrow they are getting the long wool sheep sheard & we can all use the wool in my workshop to make a rug using a latch hook, a nice thing to do together over a cup of tea from the cafe.

imageIve been working hard so there is lots of new artwork & other goodies available, I look forward to those of you who can popping in to see me for a chat. See you soon.

p.s. My plan is now to send a blog post once a week on a Wednesday (yes I know it’s already Thursday) to keep you all up to date… Nudge me if I haven’t done it xx

  1. Many congratulations! What a marvellous opportunity, I’m not jealous at all…nope…not at all!! Wishing you lots of creative happiness and prosperity and look forward to seeing you there when we are next in the glorious county that is Cornwall!

  2. WOW, really happy for you. Your work will look great there. i have only been once, but absolutely loved the stone woman lying on the ground in the woods, whose coverings change with the seasons. I have a postcard of her in my bathroom.. I run feltmaking workshops in London and have had the great good fortune of working in the Centre for Wildlife Gardening, with families and Alzheimers sufferers, plus Brockwell Park Community greenhouses. Isn’t it wonderful to felt out in the open, surrounded by flowers and veg?! Enjoy every minute. x
