New year sunshine.

Sorry to have been a bit quiet on FB etc but we went off for a week for a bit of winter sunshine to the French Alps. While this was actually meant to be a skiing holiday, I think it’s fair to say I’m not much of a skier & actually I’m completely happy to embrace this realisation! So while my family had suitcases packed full of ski gear mine was full of blocks of Lino, recycled card, old blankets, wool etc… i had my full week planned it was just a different plan to everyone else 😉 Day 1 wander the local village for inspiration, maybe plan out a print? Day 2 Get printing! Day 3 a spot of felting etc… You get the picture. The first half of the week went to plan then by day 3 poorlynesses set in so we had to just hang out in the sun.

A nice place to be ill at least.

I’m still feeling uber grotty & my week of lovely making didn’t go quite to plan but I did get to do some things which I can share with you & of course some very welcome pictures of sunshine & snowy mountains. I’m so looking forward to getting better & getting back to a routine & just getting on with stuff.

See you soon on the other side of this lurge!

Lou

    • Thanks Pam, The blistered one is already looking heaps better & actually all of the antibiotics will probably stop him getting this horrid bug!! AND as I now discover having finally dragged my sorry self up to get dressed- the lovely soft moleskin trousers I have which were feeling a little tight after Christmas with all of that stilton I managed to stuff in are now feeling quite lose, there is always a silver lining 🙂
